Going to look at it tomorrow morning. I have a couple of fallback options ready to go if I end up not liking it as much. One of them is just  the same car with a different interior color.

Nope. To rival you, he's getting a 2014 TSX Sport Wagon. He did mention before that he needed an automatic car because manuals don't suit his commute. And he liked the TSX. Fucking BOOM, let the Japanese Wagon Wars commence!

Acura TL SH-AWD? Despite your comments here I think it will be end up being a Honda/Acura. I hope to God it’s not an Accord Crosstour or Acura ZDX tho.

Is this for real? If yes, I test drove this exact vehicle a couple of years back. Excellent choice! Fantastic engine, Typical Honda smooth auto gearbox (If it’s manual you got yourself a unicorn), numb steering but it handles well and SH-AWD grips like a boss, quiet, comfortable and spacious. Infotainment is Old AF but it works well.

It is. Tan interior, 62k, 6AT (the Advance package looks to have been auto only). I’m excited.

Nice! Advance package is the way to go. The 19" look great plus Cooled+heated seats. the ELS system sounds great btw
This and the G37 were the only two cars I was looking for to replace my e90 , u ltimately went for the G.

Yeah, I love the 19s and the thought of cooled seats in the summer is wonderful. Can’t wait to hear the sound system.

It’s between this and an IS350 AWD for me. This is definitely a better value than the IS, though. I was also considering the 07-08 TL-S, but the age on those combined with their depreciation halting in the past couple years has put me off in the past day or two. It’d be 14-15 years old by the time it’s paid off, and the idea of still having a loan on a car that old doesn’t appeal to me at all, while with this 4th gen it’d be about 10-12 when all is said and done. Maybe less if I decide to get a 2014 with a black interior that I have in my favorites.

IMO the comparable IS350 is cramped and not as sporty considering it has a 300HP V6 and RWD, transmission is sluggish . Plus their resale values are outrageous, Good if you already own one, bad if you want to buy one. TL you get a lot more like you mentioned.
2014 TLs are THE most reliable because last year obviously. Let me see if I can post the Consumer Reports survey results. I have read about propeller shaft issues on the 2012 TL s.

Yeah, I’m honestly thinking about getting this 2014 transferred regardless, despite the black interior (though my black doggo wouldn’t mess up a black interior as much as he would a tan one...he  sheds a lot.)
